I am a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus on painting, drawing and animation based in Cork, Ireland. Themes of identity, personal narrative and belonging are explored through a keen connection to the environment and the creatures we share our lands with.

Flux is intrinsic to my practice: that ideas and identities can always be changing, as well as history and truth. I enact this in my work by collecting scraps (memories, history, stories) and reconstructing them as layers of a whole. I use paints, pencils, crayons and collage to build layers into my drawings.  Instinct plays a fundamental role in the work, which goes mostly unplanned until the tool touches the canvas.

My practice centers DIY principles, striving to create space, community and opportunities for sharing knowledge. My studio is based at The Living Commons, where we host making sessions and craft markets for local artists to connect with the community. Annually I produce Cork Zine Fest alongside three other artists; inviting zine enthusiasts from all over Ireland to come together and share their work as well as hosting performances, discussions and workshops throughout the weekend.

Member of Sample-Studios, Visual Artists Ireland (VAI) and Design and Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI).
